Summary
Support the design, coordination, and documentation of commercial HVAC systems using Building Information Modeling (BIM) software. This position works closely with project managers, engineers, field personnel, and other trades to produce accurate, coordinated models and shop drawings for commercial construction projects.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop HVAC coordination drawings using Revit MEP and AutoCAD.
- Perform clash detection and coordination using Navisworks.
- Coordinate HVAC systems with structural, plumbing, and electrical trades.
- Produce ductwork and piping layouts for commercial construction projects.
- Maintain and update BIM models throughout all phases of a project.
- Create detailed shop drawings for field installation.
